How to get the Carnival Spray
Carnival Spray cannot be bought. Everything routes through Spray Crates earned in the limited Carnival event.

Redeem the CARNIVAL code
Enter CARNIVAL in the in-game Settings menu for 100 Carnival Prize Tickets — your starter currency for Carnival Crate spins.

How do you get the Carnival Spray in Build A Ring Farm?
It only drops from Spray Crates, at roughly a 0.5% chance per crate. Earn Spray Crates by reaching Tier 11 of the Carnival Pass or by spinning the Carnival Crate with Prize Tickets. It is never sold in the Gear Shop.
What is the Carnival mutation multiplier?
About 9.5×. Sources vary — Pro Game Guides lists 9.5x while Sportskeeda and SportsRant list 9x. Either way it ranks just under Fire (10x) and above Bubblegum (9x) and Cosmic (8x).
Is Carnival Spray better than Fire Spray?
Fire (10×) is slightly stronger, but Fire Spray costs $1qd cash. Carnival is close at ~9.5× and is free Carnival-event loot, so it is the better value while the event is live — Note that the wiki only documents the pet-applied Starfall and Vine as stackable, so treat older claims that Carnival stacks as unconfirmed.
What crops should I use Carnival Spray on?
Because it is rare and single-use, save it for your highest base-value crops: Aurora Lotus, Queens Blossom, and Carousel Crownflower on the Outer Ring. Run them through the calculator first to confirm the payoff.
Can the Carnival mutation stack with other mutations?
No. The wiki only documents the two pet-applied mutations as stackable — Starfall (4x, Starfall Griffin) and Vine (3x, Plant Rush Golem) — and even those add rather than multiply. Carnival behaves like every other spray mutation: it overwrites whatever is on the plant. Older guides claiming Carnival stacks with Starfall are unconfirmed.
How long is the Carnival event available?
Carnival arrived with Update 5 and is a limited event, so the Carnival Pass, Carnival Crate, and Carnival Spray can leave once it ends. Farm Spray Crates while the event is active.
