What does Saw Yield do?

It multiplies your final harvest value. A saw bonus of 7 doubles your income (1 + 7/7 = 2.00x); a saw bonus of 14 triples it (1 + 14/7 = 3.00x). It applies to every plant the saw harvests, so it scales with your strongest ring and mutation setup.

Is Saw Yield worth upgrading?

Yes. Saw Yield is one of the highest-priority upgrades from mid game onward because it multiplies the entire formula. Early on, Seed Luck and Sprinkler Power compound faster, but once your unit prices and plot count are high, Saw Yield gives the biggest income jump per level.

How is the saw bonus calculated in the harvest formula?

The harvest formula ends with (1 + saw bonus / 7). The saw bonus is the value your Saw Yield upgrade contributes. So saw bonus 0 = 1.00x (no effect), 3 = 1.43x, 7 = 2.00x. Divide the bonus by 7 and add 1 to get the multiplier.

Does Saw Yield work while offline?

Saw Yield raises your harvest value whenever the saw collects a plant. Offline income is calculated at the base 1x mutation rate, but your ring and saw multipliers still apply, so a higher Saw Yield does increase offline earnings.
