Build A Ring Farm seed luck & selling guide
Seed Luck decides how often you roll rare and Transcended seeds — and selling crops the right way funds it. Here's every seed-luck source, how rolls work, and how to actually sell what you grow.
Every seed luck source
Combine these to push your roll quality. Higher luck means more Epic, Secret, and Transcended pulls per session.
| Source | What it does | Type |
|---|---|---|
| Capybara pet | ~1.59x seed luck deployed, climbing to ~2.07x when fed Super Pet Treats from the Composter. The budget go-to for Transcended hunting. | Pet |
| Seed Luck / Seed Roll upgrades | Cash-bought upgrades that raise base roll quality and the number of seeds rolled per lever pull. A top early-game priority. | Upgrade |
| Luck gamepasses | Robux gamepasses that multiply luck permanently. Optional, but they stack with pet and upgrade luck. | Robux |
| Time Skips & events | Time Skip codes and events let you roll and harvest more often, which means more chances to hit a rare seed within the same play session. | Event |
Capybara base boost in our dataset: 1.59×. Feeding Super Pet Treats pushes it higher.
How to sell seeds (really, crops) for cash
A common beginner confusion: you don't sell seeds — you plant them, grow crops, and sell the harvest. Here's the loop.
- 1
Plant the seed, don't sell it
Equip a seed and place it on a farm plot. Seeds themselves aren't sold for cash — their value comes from the crop they grow into.
- 2
Let the saw harvest the crop
The rotating saw harvests fully grown plants into pickup boxes. Sprinklers and growth pets speed the cycle so boxes pile up faster.
- 3
Collect boxes and sell at the Sell Shop
Pick up the harvest boxes and take them to the Sell Shop to convert them into cash. Higher ring multipliers and mutations make each box worth far more.
- 4
Reinvest into luck and rings
Spend cash back into Seed Luck, ring upgrades, and the Capybara so your next rolls are rarer and each harvest sells for more.
Seed luck & selling FAQ
What is seed luck in Build A Ring Farm?
Seed Luck increases the chance that a lever pull rolls a higher-rarity seed. The more luck you stack, the more often Epic, Secret, and Transcended seeds appear instead of commons.
How do you increase seed luck?
Deploy the Capybara pet (~1.59x, up to ~2.07x fed), buy Seed Luck and Seed Roll upgrades with cash, and optionally add luck gamepasses. They all stack.
What is the best pet for seed luck?
The Capybara is the dedicated seed-luck pet and the most cost-effective choice. Feed it Super Pet Treats from the Composter to raise its boost toward ~2.07x.
How do you sell seeds in Build A Ring Farm?
You don't sell seeds directly — you plant them, let the saw harvest the crops, then collect the harvest boxes and sell them at the Sell Shop for cash.
Where is the Sell Shop?
It's the sell point on your farm where harvest boxes are converted to cash. Crop value scales with ring multiplier, mutation, seed level, and saw bonus — run the numbers in the calculator.
