What shipped

  • Released August 29, 2026 — the wiki update log recorded it that evening (revision 2286) and the Roblox games API reports the game updated at 16:57:22 UTC, 43 minutes before the Update 17 page was created
  • New mechanics: Neighbor Visiting and the Night Market Season Pass
  • New content: 8 plants (3 rollable, 1 bundle, 4 Night Market), 3 pets, 1 farm skin, 3 player titles with quests, a new Farmers Deal and a guild leaderboard reset with new rewards — counts only, no per-item data published
  • Fixes: some minor fixes, no detail published
  • Single-source record: one editor maintains the community wiki, cross-checked against the Roblox games API; not an official statement

New mechanics

  • Neighbor Visiting
  • Night Market Season Pass

No entry page exists for Neighbor Visiting yet, so how visiting a neighbour’s farm works — and what it pays out — is undocumented.

New content

Recorded at category level only, exactly as the wiki revision 2289 words it.

  • 8 new plants (3 rollable, 1 bundle, 4 Night Market)
  • 3 new pets
  • 1 new farm skin
  • 3 new player titles with quests
  • New Farmers Deal
  • Guild leaderboard reset with new rewards

The wiki publishes counts, not names or values, so none of this can enter the plant, pet or calculator datasets.

Titles recorded alongside the update

A diff of the wiki titles table between the August 22 snapshot (revision 2080) and the August 29 snapshot (revision 2319) isolates four rows. Two name their Update 17 source directly.

  • Lamtern Keeper — +8% earnings from mutated crops, from completing the Night Market Pass (spelling is verbatim from the wiki)
  • Lamplighter — +4% farm earnings, from the Farmers Deal
  • Good Neighbour — +4% farm earnings, for completing 250 chores on another player’s farm
  • The fourth row in that diff is Traiblazer, already present in the August 22 snapshot, so it belongs to Update 16 rather than this one

Good Neighbour matches Neighbor Visiting, but no source links the two, so it is listed as a contemporaneous record only.

Night Market Season Pass window

The pass page records status_event = on with a start of 08/29 10:00 and an end of 09/12 09:59 at UTC-4, i.e. August 29, 14:00 UTC through September 12, 13:59 UTC.

Times come from the community wiki, not from a Roblox event listing.

Still unconfirmed

These are the parts of Update 17 we could not pin down: 6 claims where sources contradict each other or where nothing was ever published. Other sites fill these gaps with numbers. We would rather tell you the gap exists.

Update 17 item names and values

Claim: The 8 new plants and 3 new pets have no published names, prices, odds, grow times or abilities.

Why it is open: The wiki revision 2289 states counts only, and the Plants and Pets tables were being restructured across the same period, so no clean delta of new rows exists.

Neighbor Visiting mechanics

Claim: How visiting works and what it rewards is undocumented, beyond a title that asks for 250 chores on another farm.

Why it is open: The wiki links Neighbor Visiting, but the target page does not exist — it is a red link.

Night Market Farm skin appearance

Claim: Reported at +14.25% from the Floating Market Bundle, but never actually seen in game.

Why it is open: The Farm Skins table row (revision 2318) still carries Placeholder.png as its image, so only the boost figure is transcribed, not the look.

Codes for Update 17

Claim: No redemption code appears on any first-hand page checked.

Why it is open: Absence of evidence only — it must not be reported as “no code exists”.

Title spellings

Claim: Lamtern Keeper and Traiblazer may be misspellings (Lantern / Trailblazer).

Why it is open: Wiki revision 2319 records them verbatim and nobody has screenshotted the in-game text; do not silently correct them.

Update 18

Claim: No following update date is scheduled here, even though the game has shipped weekly.

Why it is open: The wiki’s Coming Soon block reads “No notifications yet” (revision 2286) and no Update 18 page exists. A cadence is not an announcement.
